\u00abGeothermal Energy and Society\u00bb lie la th\u00e9orie avec des \u00e9tudes pratiques qui, jusqu\u2019\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent, n\u2019\u00e9tait disponible que rarement et de mani\u00e8re fragment\u00e9e. Les auteurs analysent diff\u00e9rents aspects de la relation entre l\u2019utilisation de la g\u00e9othermie et les soci\u00e9t\u00e9s, respectivement les communaut\u00e9s locales, dans lesquelles cette utilisation a lieu. Apr\u00e8s une introduction \u00e0 des sujets techniques, des concepts sur l\u2019utilisation d\u2019\u00e9nergies renouvelables, \u00e0 leur contexte sociopolitique ainsi qu\u2019aux aspects r\u00e9glementaires de la g\u00e9othermie, le livre analyse et d\u00e9bat sur douze \u00e9tudes de cas mondiaux et compare, entre autres, les instruments sociopolitiques appliqu\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

\n<\/strong>Les \u00e9tudes de cas pr\u00e9sent\u00e9es dans le livre vont de l\u2019Australie, du Canada, de la Gr\u00e8ce ou des Philippines \u00e0 la Suisse. Le \u00abChapitre suisse\u00bb a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9dig\u00e9 par Olivier Ejderyan, Franziska Ruef et Michael Stauffacher de l\u2019EPF Zurich. Il offre un aper\u00e7u de la recherche sur les aspects sociopolitiques de la g\u00e9othermie en Suisse. Les auteurs montrent quels d\u00e9fis posent la structure f\u00e9d\u00e9raliste et de d\u00e9mocratie directe de la Suisse, avec ses diff\u00e9rentes conditions-cadre institutionnelles et cultures d\u2019innovation au d\u00e9veloppement de la g\u00e9othermie. Le chapitre compare la perception de la g\u00e9othermie profonde et \u00e0 moyenne profondeur, qui est plut\u00f4t positive au niveau national et r\u00e9gional linguistique, avec des exemples de cas \u00e0 B\u00e2le, St-Gall, Haute-Sorne et Gen\u00e8ve. Cela permet de mieux comprendre la relation entre les projets g\u00e9othermiques et leur contexte. Les auteurs montrent que cette relation est dynamique. C\u2019est pourquoi, ils concluent que les aspects sociaux et politiques ne doivent pas seulement \u00eatre pris en compte durant les phases pr\u00e9liminaires comme facteurs pour la s\u00e9lection de sites potentiels de projets, mais durant toute la planification et tout le d\u00e9veloppement du projet et doivent \u00eatre trait\u00e9s par des relations publiques appropri\u00e9es.<\/p>\n
