Ce puits permettra de produire de la chaleur gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la pr\u00e9sence d&rsquo;une nappe d&rsquo;eau souterraine d\u00e9couverte dans le cadre du programme GEothermie 2020. Cette \u00e9nergie viendra alimenter un nouveau r\u00e9seau de chauffage \u00e0 distance.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Situ\u00e9 sur les communes de Gen\u00e8ve et de Vernier, la Concorde est un quartier d&rsquo;une trentaine d&rsquo;hectares en forte mutation. Divers b\u00e2timents offrant un millier de logements et 250 emplois, ainsi qu&rsquo;une \u00e9cole, vont y \u00eatre b\u00e2tis au cours des ann\u00e9es \u00e0 venir. Les promoteurs et autorit\u00e9s communales se sont fortement engag\u00e9s dans la recherche de solutions \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques valorisant des ressources renouvelables et locales. Pour ce faire, une \u00e9tude d\u00e9taill\u00e9e du sous-sol du p\u00e9rim\u00e8tre concern\u00e9 a \u00e9t\u00e9 effectu\u00e9e en 2016 dans le cadre du programme GEothermie 2020. Cette prospection a permis de d\u00e9couvrir, gr\u00e2ce notamment \u00e0 quatre forages exploratoires, la pr\u00e9sence d&rsquo;une nappe d&rsquo;eau souterraine jusque-l\u00e0 non cartographi\u00e9e. Situ\u00e9e \u00e0 une soixantaine de m\u00e8tres de profondeur, elle pr\u00e9sente des conditions favorables \u00e0 une exploitation g\u00e9othermique.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Trois ressources pour un seul r\u00e9seau<br \/>\n<\/strong>Sur cette base, l&rsquo;Etat de Gen\u00e8ve et SIG ont imagin\u00e9 un concept pour alimenter le quartier de la Concorde en chauffage et en eau chaude. En hiver, la g\u00e9othermie couvrira la majeure partie des besoins en chauffage. En \u00e9t\u00e9, l\u2019eau chaude sanitaire sera chauff\u00e9e par la seule incin\u00e9ration des ordures. Le gaz naturel sera quant \u00e0 lui utilis\u00e9 en appoint en fonction des besoins. Au final, l&rsquo;approvisionnement thermique du quartier de la Concorde sera couvert \u00e0 hauteur de 65% par des \u00e9nergies non fossiles. La pompe \u00e0 chaleur produiera 2,2 millions de kWh d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie \u2028par ans, soit l&rsquo;\u00e9quivalent de 220&rsquo;000 litres de mazout. 61 tonnes de CO<sub>2<\/sub> seront \u00e9conomis\u00e9es chaque ann\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Developpement progressif<br \/>\n<\/strong>L&rsquo;installation par SIG des conduites constituant le nouveau r\u00e9seau de chaleur \u00e0 distance a d\u00e9but\u00e9 r\u00e9cemment. Deux premiers b\u00e2timents pourront y \u00eatre raccord\u00e9s en automne 2017, d\u00e8s leur construction termin\u00e9e. Le r\u00e9seau sera progressivement d\u00e9ploy\u00e9 dans le quartier de la Concorde d&rsquo;ici fin 2018.
