Les premiers r\u00e9sultats du programme GEothermie2020 sont prometteurs. <\/strong>\u00ab\u00a0Avec la g\u00e9othermie, SIG pourra d\u00e9velopper \u00e0 moyen terme des r\u00e9seaux de chauffage et de refroidissement aliment\u00e9s avec l\u2019eau chaude, \u00e9nergie renouvelable, produite localement et non polluante,\u00bb affirme Christian Brunier, directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral des Services Industriels de Gen\u00e8ve.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Pourquoi le canton de Gen\u00e8ve et SIG misent sur la g\u00e9othermie ?<\/strong>
\nLa g\u00e9othermie est la source d’\u00e9nergie renouvelable, locale et propre, qui offre le meilleur potentiel pour fournir de la chaleur. Son exploitation permettrait d’augmenter notre ind\u00e9pendance \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique et d’atteindre les objectifs de r\u00e9duction de CO2 ambitieux du Canton et de SIG.<\/p>\n

Est-ce que Paris est un mod\u00e8le pour vous ?<\/strong>
\n<\/strong>Oui, car on y d\u00e9montre depuis plus de 40 ans que la g\u00e9othermie de moyenne profondeur est non seulement durable mais aussi \u00e0 maturit\u00e9 technique et \u00e9conomique.<\/p>\n

Gen\u00e8ve est-elle pr\u00eate, apr\u00e8s les \u00e9checs de B\u00e2le et de St-Gall, \u00e0 prendre des risques financiers en mati\u00e8re de g\u00e9othermie ?<\/strong>
\nNous avons sign\u00e9 une convention d’objectifs avec le Canton, notre principal propri\u00e9taire, afin notamment de faciliter la transition \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique. C\u2019est dire que l\u2019objectif du\u00a0programme genevois de g\u00e9othermie n’est pas seulement de r\u00e9aliser un projet de g\u00e9othermie de grande profondeur, comme cela s\u2019est pass\u00e9 \u00e0 St-Gall et \u00e0 B\u00e2le, mais\u00a0de d\u00e9velopper la g\u00e9othermie sous toutes ses formes. Notre progression se fera de mani\u00e8re structur\u00e9e et graduelle. Nos premiers projets seront relativement simples et peu profonds, et pr\u00e9senteront donc un risque financier limit\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Quelle est la vision de la population genevoise vis \u00e0 vis de la g\u00e9othermie ?
\n<\/strong>L’approche adopt\u00e9e vise non seulement \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer les connaissances du sous-sol mais aussi \u00e0 d\u00e9finir avec le canton un cadre institutionnel adapt\u00e9 \u00e0 la nature des projets de g\u00e9othermie. Cela permettra de susciter l’adh\u00e9sion de la population. En effet, il ne s’agit pas de d\u00e9velopper de la g\u00e9othermie \u00e0 tout prix, mais bien de mettre sur pied une fili\u00e8re fiable qui r\u00e9pond aux enjeux \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques.<\/p>\n

Existe-t-il un risque de provoquer des tremblements de terre ?
\n<\/strong>Le programme genevois n\u2019implique aucun risque sismique durant la phase de prospection (2014-2017) car aucun forage profond ne sera r\u00e9alis\u00e9. Un r\u00e9seau d\u2019enregistrement de la sismicit\u00e9 sera mis en place d\u00e8s cette ann\u00e9e afin de pouvoir prendre toutes les mesures requises pour limiter ce risque lors de futurs forages profonds.<\/p>\n

Pourquoi n’\u00e9voque-t-on jamais le fait qu’il est aussi possible de produire du froid avec la g\u00e9othermie ? Avez-vous des exp\u00e9riences dans ce domaine ?<\/strong>
\nSIG d\u00e9veloppe actuellement le projet G\u00e9niLac qui permettra de distribuer de l’eau froide du lac dans le quartier des organisations internationales, dans celui de l’a\u00e9roport et au centre-ville. Par ailleurs, nous avons r\u00e9cemment r\u00e9alis\u00e9 l’alimentation en froid de la zone industrielle de Meyrin-Satigny (ZIMEYSA) gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la nappe d’eau souterraine du Rh\u00f4ne. Nous avons donc non seulement conscience que la g\u00e9othermie peut fournir du froid mais nous avons d\u00e9j\u00e0 r\u00e9alis\u00e9 de tels projets !<\/p>\n

Quelle est la probabilit\u00e9 de succ\u00e8s des projets de g\u00e9othermie \u00e0 Gen\u00e8ve ?
\n<\/strong>Les r\u00e9sultats pr\u00e9liminaires sont tr\u00e8s encourageants. La g\u00e9othermie pourrait jouer un r\u00f4le important dans l\u2019approvisionnement \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique du canton dans le futur. N\u00e9anmoins, il convient de rester prudent car de nombreuses \u00e9tudes sont encore pr\u00e9vues avant de pouvoir r\u00e9ellement quantifier les ressources \u00e0 moyenne et grande profondeur.<\/p>\n

Que faudrait-il \u00a0faire pour permettre un d\u00e9veloppement important de la g\u00e9othermie en Suisse ?
\n<\/strong>Il faut construire la fili\u00e8re de mani\u00e8re structur\u00e9e et ne pas vouloir tout de suite r\u00e9aliser des projets de g\u00e9othermie tr\u00e8s profonde. Pour permettre ce d\u00e9veloppement graduel, nous comptons sur les nouveaux m\u00e9canismes de soutien \u00e0 la g\u00e9othermie de moyenne profondeur discut\u00e9s dans le cadre de la strat\u00e9gie \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique 2050.<\/p>\n

Selon vous, o\u00f9 en sera la g\u00e9othermie dans 10 ans ?
\n<\/strong>A Gen\u00e8ve, nous aurons termin\u00e9 notre programme de prospection et d’exploration et nous saurons donc quelle est la qualit\u00e9 de la ressource. S\u2019il existe, comme nous l’esp\u00e9rons, d’importantes circulations d’eau dans le sous-sol cantonal, il ne fait aucun doute que plusieurs projets concrets auront d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9s et que la g\u00e9othermie commencera \u00e0 avoir une place de choix dans le mix \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique cantonal.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
