L&rsquo;ETHZ publie \u00e0 ce sujet, en collaboration avec l&rsquo;OFEN, un nouveau rapport contenant des recommandations.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Le sous-sol profond suisse est encore mal connu, ce qui freine son exploitation pour l&rsquo;\u00e9nergie g\u00e9othermique, le stockage du carbone et l\u2019extraction de min\u00e9raux critiques. Une compr\u00e9hension approfondie du bassin molassique suisse est indispensable pour exploiter pleinement son potentiel.<br \/>\n<span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">L&rsquo;ETHZ pr\u00e9sente dans une \u00e9tude une tentative de quantification du potentiel de la Suisse en mati\u00e8re de CO\u2082 Plume Geothermal (CPG), qui utilise le CO\u2082 comme fluide de travail pour la production d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie g\u00e9othermique. Les donn\u00e9es de puits et sismiques existantes, issues principalement d&rsquo;anciennes explorations p\u00e9troli\u00e8res et gazi\u00e8res, se sont r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9es insuffisantes pour appr\u00e9hender le sous-sol avec le niveau de pr\u00e9cision requis pour une \u00e9valuation fiable. Bien que des donn\u00e9es historiques suppl\u00e9mentaires puissent \u00eatre rendues publiques, leur applicabilit\u00e9 limit\u00e9e \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9tude rend peu probable une am\u00e9lioration significative des connaissances du sous-sol suisse.
