La g\u00e9othermie ne se d\u00e9veloppe pas tout \u00e0 fait de la m\u00eame mani\u00e8re que les autres technologies d\u2019\u00e9nergie renouvelable. Chaque march\u00e9 pr\u00e9sente ses propres caract\u00e9ristiques en mati\u00e8re de ressources, de proc\u00e9dures d\u2019autorisation, d\u2019exigences pour les forages, de relations avec les collectivit\u00e9s locales, de structures des march\u00e9s de l\u2019\u00e9nergie et de risques li\u00e9s aux projets. Ces facteurs rendent l\u2019expansion internationale possible, mais difficile \u00e0 standardiser.<\/p>\n<p>La nouvelle organisation plus l\u00e9g\u00e8re de Baseload Capital, avec un recours accru aux d\u00e9veloppeurs locaux et une plus grande s\u00e9lectivit\u00e9 dans le d\u00e9ploiement des capitaux pourraient finalement s\u2019av\u00e9rer mieux adapt\u00e9s \u00e0 un secteur o\u00f9 la croissance tend \u00e0 \u00eatre progressive plut\u00f4t qu\u2019exponentielle, et o\u00f9 elle d\u00e9pend fortement des conditions locales.
