Aeesuisse publie son \u00ab plan de stockage d\u2019\u00e9nergie pour la Suisse \u00bb dans lequel le potentiel de la G\u00e9othermie repr\u00e9sente 8 \u00e0 10 TWh pour le stockage saisonnier de chaleur. Cela permettra l\u2019\u00e9conomie de 3 \u00e0 4 TWh d\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 en hiver. Ces chiffres confirment les ordres de grandeur de l\u2019\u00e9tude de potentiel r\u00e9alis\u00e9e par G\u00e9othermie-Suisse en 2022.<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Un d\u00e9veloppement des syst\u00e8mes de stockage thermique soutient la transition \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique. Le stockage dans le sous-sol a l\u2019avantage de permettre la mobilisation de grands volumes avec une faible emprise au sol. Les accumulateurs saisonniers compensent le d\u00e9calage structurel entre la surproduction d\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 en \u00e9t\u00e9 et les besoins suppl\u00e9mentaires en hiver.<\/span><\/p>\n

Les grands accumulateurs thermiques int\u00e9gr\u00e9s aux r\u00e9seaux de chaleur stockent de la chaleur \u00e0 temp\u00e9rature utile. Ils permettent de faire fonctionner les grandes pompes \u00e0 chaleur de fa\u00e7on judicieuse et r\u00e9guli\u00e8re tout au long de l\u2019ann\u00e9e, en d\u00e9calant leur consommation d\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 de l\u2019hiver vers l\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9. De plus, ils permettent de transf\u00e9rer de l\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019hiver l\u2019exc\u00e9dent de chaleur issue des usines d\u2019incin\u00e9ration des ordures m\u00e9nag\u00e8res (UIOM) ou de la g\u00e9othermie. Diff\u00e9rentes options techniques sont envisageables, comme le stockage thermique en fosse (PTES), en cavit\u00e9 (CTES), en champs de sondes g\u00e9othermiques (BTES) ou en aquif\u00e8re (ATES).<\/p>\n

Les accumulateurs sous forme de champs de sondes g\u00e9othermiques r\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9s augmentent la temp\u00e9rature de d\u00e9part des pompes \u00e0 chaleur, am\u00e9liorent leur efficacit\u00e9 et r\u00e9duisent ainsi la consommation d\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 en hiver. La r\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9ration des champs de sondes g\u00e9othermiques devrait donc devenir la norme, notamment parce qu\u2019elle permet d\u2019assurer le rafra\u00eechissement en \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e0 moindre co\u00fbt \u2013 un besoin qui sera amen\u00e9 \u00e0 se d\u00e9velopper dans le contexte du r\u00e9chauffement climatique.<\/p>\n

L\u2019\u00e9tude d\u2019aeesuisse est bas\u00e9e sur le mod\u00e8le de syst\u00e8me \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique Swiss Energyscope de l\u2019ETHZ, qui pr\u00e9voit un syst\u00e8me \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique optimis\u00e9 en termes de co\u00fbts pour la Suisse \u00e0 l\u2019horizon 2050, en tenant compte d\u2019un objectif de z\u00e9ro \u00e9mission nette de gaz \u00e0 effet de serre. Pour ce faire, tous les flux et formes d\u2019\u00e9nergie (\u00e9lectrique, thermique, chimique) ainsi que leurs \u00e9missions d\u2019eqCO2 sont pris en compte de fa\u00e7on syst\u00e9mique. De nombreux param\u00e8tres sp\u00e9cifiques aux technologies et aux ressources servent de donn\u00e9es de base, notamment pour les co\u00fbts d\u2019investissement et d\u2019exploitation, les rendements ainsi que la disponibilit\u00e9 de ressources comme la biomasse et l\u2019eau ou de technologies comme le photovolta\u00efque, l\u2019\u00e9olien et la g\u00e9othermie.<\/p>\n
