\u00abLe secteur nyonnais est identifi\u00e9 comme le premier site pouvant b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier du retour d\u2019exp\u00e9rience de Vinzel.\u00bb<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Que signifie l’abandon du projet \u00e0 Vinzel pour la g\u00e9othermie sur la C\u00f4te ?
\n<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Op\u00e9rationnellement parlant, il faut pr\u00e9ciser que l\u2019abandon est d\u00e9finitif et non pas temporaire. Ainsi, apr\u00e8s une inspection du puits, ce dernier va \u00eatre bouch\u00e9 selon les standards en la mati\u00e8re et la ressource ne sera plus du tout accessible. Le site sera remis en \u00e9tat en deux temps, la premi\u00e8re phase de restitution de la parcelle non goudronn\u00e9e ayant d\u00e9but\u00e9 le lundi 30 mars 2026 pour une dur\u00e9e de trois semaines. Les travaux vont ensuite se poursuivre pour se terminer normalement au cours de l\u2019ann\u00e9e prochaine.<\/p>\n

Plus g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement, Vinzel a permis de tirer de nombreux enseignements qui peuvent b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier \u00e0 d\u2019autres projets dans la r\u00e9gion. Les r\u00e9centes annonces de l\u2019Etat de Vaud, et en particulier l\u2019appel \u00e0 projets pour des forages de prospection, cr\u00e9ent les conditions cadres propices \u00e0 la poursuite du d\u00e9veloppement de la g\u00e9othermie de moyenne profondeur sur les autres sites identifi\u00e9s. Gr\u00e2ce aux r\u00e9sultats des campagnes de prospection g\u00e9ophysique 3D et au d\u00e9veloppement de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Thermor\u00e9s\u00d4 Nyon, le secteur nyonnais est identifi\u00e9 comme le premier site pouvant b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier du retour d\u2019exp\u00e9rience de Vinzel.<\/p>\n

Quels sont les points les plus importants \u00e0 retenir pour la branche de ce projet ?\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Apr\u00e8s le succ\u00e8s du forage de Satigny, Energe\u00d4 a confirm\u00e9 par les faits que le Jura est bel et bien un formidable ch\u00e2teau d\u2019eau puisque la ressource est pr\u00e9sente et en quantit\u00e9. De plus, il est attest\u00e9 que ce type de projets peut \u00eatre r\u00e9alis\u00e9 sans incidents op\u00e9rationnels, ni sismicit\u00e9. Des donn\u00e9es pr\u00e9cieuses, du savoir-faire et des comp\u00e9tences ont \u00e9t\u00e9 acquis pour les futurs projets.<\/p>\n

Le projet a aussi mis en \u00e9vidence la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 cruciale d\u2019entretenir le dialogue avec les preneurs de chaleur (aspects surface) et les autorit\u00e9s cantonales et f\u00e9d\u00e9rales au niveau op\u00e9rationnel. Au fil de l\u2019aventure, des interactions avec le monde politique ont eu lieu et ont d\u00e9bouch\u00e9 sur la \u00ab Lex Vinzel \u00bb (article 34a alin\u00e9a 1b de la loi sur le CO\u2082) et la nouvelle enveloppe de cinq millions annonc\u00e9e par l\u2019Etat de Vaud, le 13 mars 2026.<\/p>\n

Vinzel est-il un exemple qui montre l’importance d’un soutien syst\u00e9matique de la Conf\u00e9d\u00e9ration \u00e0 la g\u00e9othermie chaleur (directe ou indirecte)?\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

La r\u00e9ponse doit \u00eatre nuanc\u00e9e. Nos investisseurs actuels ont quelque peu \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0refroidis\u00a0\u00bb par ces premiers r\u00e9sultats et n\u2019ont plus l\u2019app\u00e9tit du risque, peu importe les notions juridiques de \u00ab\u00a0directe ou indirecte\u00a0\u00bb. Bien que l\u2019on ait prouv\u00e9 que notre sous-sol est riche en ressources g\u00e9othermales, il reste des incertitudes majeures, c\u2019est un fait. De plus, par rapport aux co\u00fbts d\u2019exploitation, le d\u00e9veloppement de tels projets n\u00e9cessite des investissements consid\u00e9rables. Pour toutes ces raisons, la g\u00e9othermie doit, pour l\u2019heure, continuer \u00e0 b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier de soutiens financiers institutionnels. Si tel n\u2019est plus le cas, j\u2019ai de la peine \u00e0 entrevoir un horizon positif. On pourra alors parler d\u2019un g\u00e2chis, surtout en regard des efforts, tant humains que financiers, entrepris jusqu\u2019\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent. Par ailleurs, je rappelle l\u2019art. 89 al. 1 de notre Constitution\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0Dans les limites de leurs comp\u00e9tences respectives, la Conf\u00e9d\u00e9ration et les cantons s\u2019emploient \u00e0 promouvoir un approvisionnement \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique suffisant, diversifi\u00e9, s\u00fbr, \u00e9conomiquement optimal et respectueux de l\u2019environnement, ainsi qu\u2019une consommation \u00e9conome et rationnelle de l\u2019\u00e9nergie.\u00a0\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0La Suisse n\u2019a pas de p\u00e9trole, mais des id\u00e9es\u00a0!\u00a0\u00bb. Maintenant, je compl\u00e8te par \u00ab\u00a0et de l\u2019eau chaude sous nos pieds\u00a0pour \u00eatre valoris\u00e9e !\u00a0\u00bb<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Apr\u00e8s l’arriv\u00e9e du data center, quelle importance a selon vous la planification \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique au niveau cantonal ou communal pour la g\u00e9othermie et la coexistence avec d’autres ressources ?<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Toutes les ressources \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques sont importantes pour notre futur et il ne faut \u00e0 priori pas les opposer. Cependant, il y a lieu de bien r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir \u00e0 quel horizon devons-nous planifier ? Actuellement, un data center rejette gratuitement de la chaleur aux alentours de 30 \u00b0C. Quelles seront les \u00e9volutions technologiques dans ce domaine ? Seront-ils d\u00e9plac\u00e9s au-dessus de nos t\u00eates comme l\u2019envisagent certains entrepreneurs de la tech ? Dans notre cas pr\u00e9cis, si la ressource avait \u00e9t\u00e9 plus chaude, elle aurait pu \u00eatre compl\u00e9mentaire \u00e0 celle du data center pour envisager un approvisionnement au niveau r\u00e9gional puisque le volume d\u2019\u00e9nergie aurait pu permettre de satisfaire les besoins de Gland et ceux de Nyon.<\/p>\n

Pour l\u2019approvisionnement \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique d\u2019une r\u00e9gion et consid\u00e9rant les investissements n\u00e9cessaires, la planification est incontournable. Toutefois, elle reste tributaire des hypoth\u00e8ses retenues et de l\u2019horizon temporel retenu. De plus, nous devons garder \u00e0 l\u2019esprit que la planification \u00e9volue en fonction de la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 du terrain. Nous nous devons donc d\u2019\u00eatre flexibles, tout en sachant que les solutions de g\u00e9othermie sont longues \u00e0 \u00eatre mises en \u0153uvre.<\/p>\n

Quels sont vos messages \u00e0 la branche et \u00e0 la population, aussi en vue de la situation g\u00e9opolitique, de l’importance de la g\u00e9othermie pour le futur ?<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Le plus important est de souligner que la g\u00e9othermie de moyenne profondeur est une solution pour l\u2019avenir \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique de notre pays. Nous nous devons d\u2019\u00eatre ind\u00e9pendants d\u2019un point de vue \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique, tant pour les kWh \u00e9lectriques que pour les kWh thermiques. La g\u00e9othermie est une solution qui passe aujourd\u2019hui par des projets exploratoires. D\u00e9sormais, il y a lieu de les faire entrer dans une phase plus industrielle, et ce, \u00e0 court terme. Il convient donc d\u2019agir maintenant. Durant ma scolarit\u00e9 dans les ann\u00e9es 70-80, j\u2019entendais souvent \u00ab\u00a0La Suisse n\u2019a pas de p\u00e9trole, mais des id\u00e9es\u00a0!\u00a0\u00bb<\/em>. Maintenant, je compl\u00e8te par \u00ab\u00a0et de l\u2019eau chaude sous nos pieds\u00a0pour \u00eatre valoris\u00e9e !\u00a0\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00c0 propos du projet<\/strong><\/p>\n

Le projet Energe\u00d4 Vinzel avait pour ambition d\u2019exploiter la ressource g\u00e9othermique pr\u00e9sente sur son site. \u00c0 la suite d\u2019un forage initial dans le Dogger puis d\u2019une d\u00e9viation du puits dans le Malm, le projet a pu d\u00e9terminer en mai 2023 que la ressource \u00e9tait pr\u00e9sente avec un d\u00e9bit jaillissant exceptionnel, mais une temp\u00e9rature insuffisante pour une utilisation directe de la chaleur \u2013 sans PAC (pompe \u00e0 chaleur) \u2013 et une valorisation dans un chauffage \u00e0 distance standard. Pour des raisons \u00e9conomiques, le projet a d\u00fb \u00eatre abandonn\u00e9 en mars 2026.<\/span><\/h3>\n
