M\u00eame si des ressources g\u00e9othermiques ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9couvertes \u00e0 Vinzel, le projet ne sera pas poursuivi. Cela s’explique notamment par le fait qu’un centre de donn\u00e9es fournit d\u00e9sormais de la chaleur r\u00e9siduelle. Les d\u00e9couvertes faites \u00e0 Vinzel incitent toutefois Energe\u00d4 \u00e0 poursuivre le d\u00e9veloppement de la g\u00e9othermie sur la C\u00f4te.<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Dans un communiqu\u00e9 de presse, Energe\u00d4 confirme l’abandon du forage g\u00e9othermique \u00e0 Vinzel. Cette d\u00e9cision est principalement motiv\u00e9e par des raisons \u00e9conomiques, aucune solution de suivi rentable n’ayant pu \u00eatre trouv\u00e9e malgr\u00e9 des recherches intensives. Le forage sera mis hors service et le terrain sera remis dans son \u00e9tat d’origine.<\/p>\n

Une d\u00e9cision prise pour des raisons \u00e9conomiques<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00c0 Vinzel, un d\u00e9bit impressionnant de 150 l\/s a \u00e9t\u00e9 mesur\u00e9, mais la temp\u00e9rature \u00e9tait inf\u00e9rieure aux 80 \u00b0C attendus, s\u2019\u00e9levant \u00e0 33 \u00b0C. L\u2019accent a donc \u00e9t\u00e9 mis sur l\u2019utilisation indirecte de la chaleur (temp\u00e9rature de l\u2019eau combin\u00e9e \u00e0 une pompe \u00e0 chaleur), mais cette option a \u00e9galement d\u00fb \u00eatre \u00e9cart\u00e9e. L’une des raisons \u00e9tait que le forage \u00e9tait en concurrence avec un data center capable de fournir de la chaleur r\u00e9cup\u00e9r\u00e9e, pour la distribution de chaleur dans la r\u00e9gion de Gland. La d\u00e9cision de l\u2019abandon du site de Vinzel n\u2019est \u00e9videmment pas ce qu\u2019ambitionnait Energe\u00d4. Malgr\u00e9 la d\u00e9couverte de la ressource g\u00e9othermique, d’autres facteurs externes ont finalement conduit \u00e0 l’arr\u00eat du forage.<\/p>\n

Daniel Cl\u00e9ment, directeur d’Energe\u00d4, r\u00e9sume la situation comme suit :\u00ab Cette d\u00e9cision \u00e9conomique n\u2019est \u00e9videmment pas celle que nous esp\u00e9rions, mais il est important de savoir prendre le recul n\u00e9cessaire afin que le d\u00e9veloppement de la g\u00e9othermie puisse se poursuivre sur d\u2019autres sites. Malgr\u00e9 la non-atteinte de l\u2019objectif premier, le forage de Vinzel a apport\u00e9 des \u00e9l\u00e9ments positifs : il a \u00e9t\u00e9 ma\u00eetris\u00e9 sans incidents de chantier, sans secousses sismiques, et a permis d\u2019attester par les actes que le Jura est un v\u00e9ritable ch\u00e2teau d\u2019eau g\u00e9othermique<\/em> \u00bb<\/p>\n

La C\u00f4te reste prometteuse<\/strong><\/p>\n

Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ce forage, Energe\u00d4 et ses partenaires ont pu acqu\u00e9rir de nombreux enseignements et des connaissances pr\u00e9cieuses pour le d\u00e9veloppement d\u2019autres projets sur la C\u00f4te et ailleurs en Suisse. Les responsables se montrent donc optimistes en ce qui concerne la r\u00e9gion de Nyon. Les prospections 3D du sous-sol y montrent des r\u00e9sultats prometteurs. On peut clairement constater l\u2019important r\u00e9seau souterrain de failles g\u00e9othermiques sous la ville. Il serait ainsi possible d\u2019atteindre ces failles gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 un forage de prospection en creusant \u00e0 environ 650m de profondeur et de conna\u00eetre les propri\u00e9t\u00e9s de la ressource, avant de forer plus profond (environ 1500m) pour installer un doublet g\u00e9othermique et entrer en exploitation.<\/p>\n

Des solutions pour s\u00e9curiser l\u2019approvisionnement en chaleur de la r\u00e9gion<\/strong><\/p>\n

Energe\u00d4 envisage malgr\u00e9 tout l’avenir avec optimisme. Les 30 millions accord\u00e9s par le Parlement national pour l’exploitation de la chaleur g\u00e9othermique<\/a><\/strong><\/span>, ainsi que le soutien du canton de Vaud (19,9 millions pour la connaissance du sous-sol et 5 millions pour des forages de prospection)<\/a><\/strong><\/span> constituent des \u00e9tapes importantes pour le d\u00e9veloppement de la g\u00e9othermie. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ce soutien financier cantonal et compte tenu des preuves scientifiques obtenues lors des campagnes 3D, Energe\u00d4 va d\u00e9poser un dossier de candidature pour r\u00e9aliser de nouveaux forages de prospection sur les secteurs d\u00e9j\u00e0 identifi\u00e9s. Nyon se profile comme premier site pouvant b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier de ce type de financement – et en s’appuyant notamment sur l’exp\u00e9rience acquise \u00e0 Vinzel.<\/p>\n

Compte tenu de la situation g\u00e9opolitique actuelle, Energe\u00d4 reste convaincue que la g\u00e9othermie est un pilier essentiel de la transition \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique et thermique. \u00ab L\u2019\u00e9nergie est sous nos pieds, c\u2019est un fait.
