Swiss Geo Energy, bas\u00e9e \u00e0 Payerne, a annonc\u00e9 un nouveau projet de g\u00e9othermie en Suisse. Entre l\u2019automne 2025 et le printemps 2026, une campagne de mesures sismiques est pr\u00e9vue dans la r\u00e9gion de la Broye.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Notre membre Swiss Geo Energy (SGE<\/strong>)<\/a><\/span>, sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e dans l\u2019exploration, le stockage et la valorisation des ressources renouvelables du sous-sol, a le plaisir d\u2019annoncer l\u2019obtention du permis de recherche en surface (PRSU) pour le projet GeoCogen La Broye accord\u00e9 le 22 mars dernier par l\u2019Etat de Vaud.<\/p>\n

Apr\u00e8s la campagne sismique 3D r\u00e9ussie dans le cadre de son premier projet, GeoCogen Ecl\u00e9pens (VD)<\/a><\/span>, SGE compte r\u00e9aliser une campagne g\u00e9ophysique par sismique r\u00e9flexion dans la Broye afin de v\u00e9rifier le potentiel g\u00e9othermique. Le d\u00e9roulement des op\u00e9rations est envisag\u00e9, \u00e0 ce stade, entre l\u2019automne 2025 et le printemps 2026. Ce\u00a0projet envisage de s\u2019\u00e9tendre sur une zone d’exploration de pr\u00e8s de 200 km\u00b2, partag\u00e9e entre les cantons de Vaud et de Fribourg.<\/p>\n

De mani\u00e8re in\u00e9dite dans notre pays, cette \u00e9tude permettra \u00e9galement d’examiner si les conditions g\u00e9ologiques sont favorables \u00e0 la production de lithium<\/strong> et\/ou d’hydrog\u00e8ne natif<\/strong>, une ressource renouvelable produite naturellement. Le projet inclut donc l’exploration de deux ressources essentielles \u00e0 la transition \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique.<\/p>\n

Le projet GeoCogen La Broye vise \u00e0 produire de l’\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 et de la chaleur pour alimenter les r\u00e9seaux de chauffage \u00e0 distance dans les r\u00e9gions de Payerne, Avenches et Fribourg. En cas de confirmation du potentiel g\u00e9othermique, une ou plusieurs centrales g\u00e9othermiques hydrothermales pourraient voir le jour.<\/p>\n

SGE s’appuie sur l’exp\u00e9rience positive acquise lors de la campagne de mesures men\u00e9e l’automne dernier dans la r\u00e9gion d’Ecl\u00e9pens pour pr\u00e9parer celle d\u2019Avenches et Payerne. Les donn\u00e9es recueillies serviront \u00e0 cr\u00e9er une cartographie tridimensionnelle des structures souterraines et \u00e0 identifier les sites de forage les plus prometteurs.<\/p>\n

Par ailleurs, nous menons de d\u00e9marches aupr\u00e8s des autorit\u00e9s cantonales fribourgeoises pour obtenir les permissions n\u00e9cessaires aux mesures en surface sur territoire fribourgeois \u00bb<\/em>, d\u00e9clare Pascal Vinard, directeur technique de SGE.<\/p>\n

Swiss Geo Energy souligne que la campagne de mesures g\u00e9ophysiques \u00e0 Ecl\u00e9pens a d\u00e9montr\u00e9 sa capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 mener des explorations r\u00e9gionales respectueuses de l’environnement tout en obtenant des r\u00e9sultats parmi les plus d\u00e9taill\u00e9s et denses d’Europe. Le d\u00e9veloppement de GeoCogen La Broye suivra cette m\u00eame approche d’innovation technologique et de dialogue constructif avec l\u2019ensemble des parties prenantes.<\/p>\n
