Selon le Conseil f\u00e9d\u00e9ral<\/strong>, la Suisse doit atteindre \u00ab\u00a0l’objectif z\u00e9ro net\u00a0\u00bb d’ici 2050<\/strong> au plus tard. La g\u00e9othermie peut y contribuer de mani\u00e8re significative<\/strong>. Aujourd’hui, la g\u00e9othermie de faible profondeur couvre 5% des besoins en chaleur de la Suisse. Ce chiffre peut \u00eatre au moins doubl\u00e9. Ces technologies permettent en outre de stocker chaque ann\u00e9e la m\u00eame quantit\u00e9 d’\u00e9nergie thermique en \u00e9t\u00e9 et de l’utiliser en hiver. En outre, la g\u00e9othermie hydrothermale de moyenne profondeur offre un potentiel de 10% des besoins en chaleur et pr\u00e9sente un int\u00e9r\u00eat particulier en tant que source d’\u00e9nergie pour les r\u00e9seaux thermiques, les serres et la chaleur industrielle. Au total, cela repr\u00e9sente un quart des besoins en chaleur – renouvelable !<\/strong><\/p>\n

Des sondes g\u00e9othermiques<\/strong> et des g\u00e9ostructures<\/strong>, coupl\u00e9es \u00e0 des pompes \u00e0 chaleur, fournissent d\u00e9j\u00e0 de la chaleur et de la fra\u00eecheur<\/strong> \u00e0 de nombreuses maisons et immeubles. Ces technologies \u00e9prouv\u00e9es<\/strong>, tout comme l’utilisation d’aquif\u00e8res peu profondes<\/strong>, sont de plus en plus utilis\u00e9es dans des lotissements et des quartiers : comme r\u00e9servoir et fournisseur d’\u00e9nergie<\/strong>, pour le chauffage, le refroidissement et l’eau chaude. De nombreux exemples en Suisse en t\u00e9moignent. En outre, les aquif\u00e8res de moyenne profondeur<\/strong> fournissent depuis des ann\u00e9es de l’eau chaude \u00e0 de nombreux bains thermaux. Ils peuvent \u00e9galement \u00eatre utilis\u00e9s pour les r\u00e9seaux thermiques<\/strong> et la chaleur industrielle et agricole<\/strong>, comme en t\u00e9moignent par exemple l’installation de Riehen (BS)<\/strong> et de nombreux exemples \u00e0 Paris et \u00e0 Munich. Le potentiel pour de nouvelles installations est important, plusieurs projets sont en pr\u00e9paration et en cours de r\u00e9alisation dans les cantons de Gen\u00e8ve, Vaud, Fribourg, Berne, Argovie, B\u00e2le et Thurgovie. De plus, la g\u00e9othermie profonde, \u00e0 partir d’environ 3000 m\u00e8tres, offre des temp\u00e9ratures de 100 degr\u00e9s et plus, permettant – outre la production de chaleur<\/strong> – la production d’\u00e9lectricit\u00e9<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

L’exploration du sous-sol<\/strong> ainsi que l’optimisation des interfaces entre les diff\u00e9rents acteurs,<\/strong> pour former une fili\u00e8re avec valeur ajout\u00e9e r\u00e9gionale,<\/strong> sont les cl\u00e9s de la d\u00e9carbonisation de la chaleur par l’utilisation de la g\u00e9othermie<\/strong>. Plusieurs cantons ont lanc\u00e9 des programmes d’exploration ou sont en train de les mettre en \u0153uvre. Par le biais du programme Transfert, G\u00e9othermie-Suisse facilite l’\u00e9change de connaissances et d’exp\u00e9riences entre tous les acteurs de la g\u00e9othermie et de l’\u00e9nergie<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
