La g\u00e9othermie peut y apporter une contribution d\u00e9cisive, comme l&rsquo;a expliqu\u00e9 Michel Meyer (SIG), exemples \u00e0 l&rsquo;appui.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!--more-->\u00a0\u00ab\u00a0Le z\u00e9ro net d&rsquo;ici 2050 est r\u00e9alisable et les r\u00e9seaux thermiques peuvent apporter une contribution importante \u00e0 cet objectif. Sur la voie d&rsquo;un secteur industriel et d&rsquo;un b\u00e2timent sans CO2, les r\u00e9seaux de chauffage \u00e0 distance aliment\u00e9s par des \u00e9nergies renouvelables joueront un r\u00f4le central. Le potentiel r\u00e9alisable n&rsquo;est aujourd&rsquo;hui exploit\u00e9 qu&rsquo;\u00e0 moiti\u00e9 tout au plus\u00a0\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Reto Burkard, chef de la division Climat de l&rsquo;OFEV, lors du forum sur le chauffage \u00e0 distance \u00e0 Berne. Les r\u00e9seaux thermiques disposent aujourd&rsquo;hui d&rsquo;une image positive, a expliqu\u00e9 Othmar Reichmuth, pr\u00e9sident de l&rsquo;association R\u00e9seaux thermiques suisses. A Paris, plus de 50 installations g\u00e9othermiques hydrothermales de moyenne profondeur fournissent de la chaleur \u00e0 1 million de personnes via des r\u00e9seaux thermiques. A Munich, une grande puissance g\u00e9othermique est en cours de r\u00e9alisation pour une \u00e9nergie 100% renouvelable dans les r\u00e9seaux d&rsquo;ici 2040. En Suisse, les pr\u00e9curseurs sont les cantons de Gen\u00e8ve et de Vaud, avec des projets de g\u00e9othermie pour couvrir une part importante de leur besoin en \u00e9nergie. Les possibilit\u00e9s de stockage de l&rsquo;\u00e9nergie dans le sous-sol, pour pallier les variations saisonni\u00e8res, sont un avantage d\u00e9cisif. Et <strong>la g\u00e9othermie est \u00e9galement comp\u00e9titive<\/strong>. Elle n\u00e9cessite certes des investissement \u00e9lev\u00e9s dans des infrastructures, c&rsquo;est-\u00e0-dire avec une valeur ajout\u00e9e r\u00e9gionale. Les co\u00fbts variables sont ensuite minimes.
