Le 21 novembre, le forage du projet Malm\u00e9nergie Naturelle \u00e0 Yverdon-les-Bains a d\u00e9but\u00e9. Un doublet g\u00e9othermique pour acc\u00e9der \u00e0 de l\u2019eau de 45 \u00b0C \u00e0 environ 1100 m\u00e8tres de profondeur est r\u00e9alis\u00e9. Cette chaleur naturelle va permettre de chauffer les serres de l\u2019entreprise Stoll Fr\u00e8res SA.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Chauffer les serres horticoles sans \u00e9mission de CO2<\/strong><\/p>\n

L\u2019entreprise familiale Stoll Fr\u00e8res S.A., situ\u00e9e \u00e0 Yverdon-les-Bains, est sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e dans la production de l\u00e9gumes depuis 1982. Elle est devenue l\u2018une des entreprises mara\u00eech\u00e8res majeure de Suisse. Depuis quelques ann\u00e9es, l\u2019entreprise cherche une solution pour r\u00e9duire ses fortes \u00e9missions de CO2 dans la production. Elle l\u2019a trouv\u00e9e dans la terre, plus concr\u00e8tement avec un projet g\u00e9othermique \u00e0 moyenne profondeur. Le forage a d\u00e9but\u00e9 le 21 novembre 2022.<\/p>\n

Un aquif\u00e8re bien connu dans la r\u00e9gion<\/strong><\/p>\n

Le projet de Malm\u00e9nergie Naturelle vise \u00e0 exploiter l\u2019aquif\u00e8re Malm moyen \u00e0 une profondeur d\u2019environ 1\u2018100 m par un doublet g\u00e9othermique (puits d\u2019injection et puits de production). Cet aquif\u00e8re est bien connu dans la r\u00e9gion. En effet, les bains thermaux d\u2018Yverdon-les-Bains l\u2019utilisent depuis plusieurs ann\u00e9es pour le chauffage de leurs infrastructures, ce qui donne un bon retour d\u2019exp\u00e9rience et augmente les chances de trouver des aquif\u00e8res productifs \u00e0 long terme. L\u2019objectif sera d\u2019utiliser directement l\u2019eau \u00e0 une temp\u00e9rature de 45\u00b0C pour un d\u00e9bit d\u2019exploitation d\u2019environ 70 l\/s. Ainsi, l\u2019\u00e9nergie thermique disponible dans l\u2019eau de l\u2019aquif\u00e8re pourrait \u00eatre exploit\u00e9e sans pompe \u00e0 chaleur.<\/p>\n

Premier forage \u00e0 mi-chemin<\/strong><\/p>\n

Depuis la plateforme de forage, la r\u00e9alisation du puits d\u00e9vi\u00e9 (Montagny 2)est en cours. Il s\u2019agira du puits de r\u00e9injection, qui permettra de retourner l\u2019eau dans l\u2019aquif\u00e8re apr\u00e8s avoir valoris\u00e9 ses calories. Les op\u00e9rations se passent bien, l\u2019entr\u00e9e dans l\u2019aquif\u00e8re est attendue prochainement \u00e0 environ 975m de profondeur. Le forage devrait arriver \u00e0 la profondeur cible finale d\u2019environ 1100 m\u00e8tres aux alentours du 20 d\u00e9cembre. Diff\u00e9rentes mesures seront alors effectu\u00e9s, entre autres de temp\u00e9rature et de d\u00e9bit. Ces donn\u00e9es acquises sur l\u2019aquif\u00e8re permettront ainsi d\u2019optimiser le forage du puits producteur (Montagny 1), qui sera r\u00e9alis\u00e9 depuis la m\u00eame plateforme, imm\u00e9diatement \u00e0 l\u2019issue du premier. C\u2019est par ce puits producteur que l\u2019eau chaude du sous-sol sera exploit\u00e9e en surface. Les op\u00e9rations de forage devraient \u00eatre termin\u00e9es en f\u00e9vrier 2023. Apr\u00e8s diff\u00e9rents tests, la mise en service du puits devrait \u00eatre effective courant 2023.<\/p>\n
