Cependant les impacts environnementaux indirects qui se produisent tout au long de son cycle de vie ne sont que peu document\u00e9s. Une analyse du cycle de vie a permis d\u2019\u00e9valuer ces impacts de six configurations de r\u00e9seaux de chaleur \u00e0 Gen\u00e8ve.<\/strong><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/geothermie-schweiz.ch\/wp_live\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Pipeline_0.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox-0\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-16408 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/geothermie-schweiz.ch\/wp_live\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Pipeline_0.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"260\" \/><\/a>Le chauffage des b\u00e2timents dans le canton de Gen\u00e8ve contribue de mani\u00e8re importante au changement climatique, car la demande en chaleur est couverte \u00e0 environ 87% par les \u00e9nergies fossiles (DIT, 2020). R\u00e9cemment, le canton s&rsquo;est fix\u00e9 comme objectif de r\u00e9duire les \u00e9missions de gaz \u00e0 effet de serre de 60% d\u2019ici \u00e0 2030, par rapport \u00e0 1990, et la g\u00e9othermie est con\u00e7ue comme l&rsquo;une des mesures centrales pour atteindre cet objectif (R\u00e9publique et canton de Gen\u00e8ve, 2020). Comme indiqu\u00e9 dans la figure, les six configurations ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9finies en liant quatre cat\u00e9gories de profondeurs de puits (10-100 m, 350-1600 m, 1800-2300 m, et 2300-4000 m) et trois types de r\u00e9seaux de chaleur (l\u2019un avec des pompes \u00e0 chaleur d\u00e9centralis\u00e9es et connect\u00e9es dans un r\u00e9seau \u00e0 basse temp\u00e9rature, l\u2019un centralis\u00e9 au sein d\u2019un r\u00e9seau \u00e0 haute temp\u00e9rature avec une pompe \u00e0 chaleur, et le dernier centralis\u00e9 au sein d\u2019un r\u00e9seau \u00e0 haute temp\u00e9rature mais sans pompe \u00e0 chaleur). L&rsquo;\u00e9tude a compar\u00e9 les impacts de ces six configurations avec ceux d&rsquo;autres technologies de chauffage couramment utilis\u00e9es en Suisse.<\/p>\n<p>En r\u00e9sum\u00e9, les r\u00e9seaux de chaleur g\u00e9othermiques sont des options appropri\u00e9es pour d\u00e9carboner le secteur du chauffage du canton de Gen\u00e8ve, et en Suisse de mani\u00e8re plus g\u00e9n\u00e9rale. En effet, non seulement les \u00e9missions de gaz \u00e0 effet de serre sont relativement faibles sur le cycle de vie, mais la plupart des autres impacts environnementaux sont \u00e9galement relativement faibles, \u00e0 l&rsquo;exception des impacts sur l\u2019appauvrissement des ressources min\u00e9rales.
