Le site avait \u00e9t\u00e9 initialement identifi\u00e9 pour y d\u00e9couvrir des hydrocarbures. Le forage existant permet de plonger \u00e0 une profondeur de 3750 m environ.<\/strong><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Comme la recherche de hydrocarbures et leur exploitation ont \u00e9t\u00e9 interdites en 2019 dans le canton de Vaud, la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Petrosvibri mise d\u00e9sormais sur la g\u00e9othermie profonde. L&rsquo;entreprise veveysanne a sollicit\u00e9 le canton de Vaud pour obtenir les autorisations n\u00e9cessaires.
